A student user experience competition curated by Holition. Entries are now open for a User Experience Design Competition which strives to celebrate, stimulate and inspire the next generation of future-thinkers. It’s encouraging innovation by improving the interaction between people and digital devices. The theme of this inaugural competition is ‘Senses’. By exploring the empathy between the human body, design, science and the senses it is possible to trigger ongoing shifts in the way space is perceived and experienced; and this has impact across all industries.

The competition is open to students currently enrolled in higher education and is especially relevant to those from the following disciplines: computer science, software development, fashion, multimedia, UX design, architecture, business, marketing or similar. 2016 graduates are also welcome. Applicants can enter individually or in small groups.

The overall winning project will receive a £5000 prize fund plus a 4-8-week studio residency; this will enable them to produce and showcase a prototype to press and industry in a dedicated exhibition.
